If I had thumbs…

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert are responsible for this blog. Don’t hold that against them. (Courtesy of The New York Times/AP)

This Saturday will be the first in my lifetime without At the Movies airing anywhere. No, U-verse isn’t having issues with channels again. Thanks to the geniuses at Buena Vista, it’s been canceled. No more thumbs (even though they’ve actually been gone for a few years). No more debates (at least not until Ebert gets his new show off the ground). No more of the reason I wanted to become a film critic. I can’t properly pay tribute to them, nor can I adequately thank them for their inspiration.

So, below I’m running down all the movies I’ve seen in the past year, with an Ebert rating (a thumb or down).
