I love the Golden Globes. I know they almost never get it right, but at least they’re not afraid to show their love for comedies. Plus, when you get the stars drinking, the show can be fun to the point of being out-of-control, unlike the sometimes-stuffy Oscars. But predicting who will even get nominated, especially in the wide-open comedy fields are tough. However, I’m up to the challenge. I’m only doing film since the landscape of critically acclaimed television is foreign to me. There’s not much to comment on, other than to say that this is basically a precursor to the Oscars, but you’ll have a few What-are-They-Doing-Here? surprises (you’ll notice I’m predicting Diddy to take that crazy awesome scene-stealer spot that Tom Cruise got a few years ago with Tropic Thunder).
