Blogging update

Wanted to update you guys on a few things.

First, thanks for keeping up with the site. If you haven’t yet, please “like” us on Facebook.

Second, my sister’s getting married this weekend! So that means I won’t post my Second Chance Cinema entry for March in March. Never fear; my take on Back to the Future, Part II will be up soon.

Finally, I’ve tweaked my Shame List a bit to cover more movies. I took off Manhattan because while it’s a favorite of many Woody Allen fans, it’s not as “important,” say as the three movies I added. It’s doubtful I’ll finish before April 8, but even if I don’t, I’ll start the My Life in Movies series soon after.

Here’s how the list looks now:
Apocalypse Now (Francis Ford Coppola, 1979)
Blue Velvet (David Lynch, 1986)
Bonnie and Clyde (Arthur Penn, 1967)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (George Roy Hill, 1969)
Chinatown (Roman Polanski, 1974)
The French Connection (William Friedkin, 1971)
The Last Picture Show (Peter Bogdanovich, 1971)
Lawrence of Arabia (David Lean, 1962)
The Philadelphia Story (George Cukor, 1940)
The Seven Samurai (Akira Kurosawa, 1957)
The Third Man (Carol Reed, 1949)
Vertigo (Alfred Hitchcock, 1958)

I’ll be blogging about my final five if and when I get to them.
