How much do you have to lie to comfort other people? That’s what so many Baltimore residents are wrestling with this episode. Do you underreport crime statistics so your constiuents feel safer? Do you pretend you didn’t see your boss getting a blowjob at work to keep your job? Do you lie to boss about polling numbers so he keeps at it? It’s a rough world and the answer is usually yes, but that cost will come due sooner rather than later.
