I’m definitely tired of in medias res openings, but the show pulls off a Breaking Bad-style “paint yourself into a corner and then find your way out” plotting, which should make for an explosive season finale.
Ted Lasso – “Lavender” (A)
The show pulls off one of the most unexpected and hilarious jokes of all time when it’s revealed what Keeley is actually looking at on her phone. But the show continues to soar because of its deep relationships, even between people who don’t exactly care for each other (yet).
