Blogging Sabbatical

Few but Faithful Readers:

It’s time for me to reconsider a few things. I’ve regularly updated this blog every week, writing about new releases at the box office and, starting last year, weekly TV reviews. But I’m beginning to wonder if my quality is not on pace with my quantity. Once a week may not seem like a lot, but when writing isn’t your day job, it can be a chore. That’s something I never want my writing to be.

So I’m going to take a little break. Starting today, I won’t be posting any regular weekly coverage, including The Weekender or What I Watched This Week. Either or both of those pieces may take different forms when and if they come back. I also don’t plan on posting anything of any sort until the first weekend of March, coinciding with the Oscars. I’ll be posting my predictions for the awards along with my dream Oscar ballot and who should have won 10 years ago.

Until then, you can follow me on Twitter (@kipjmooney), where I’ll still be letting my thoughts run free. And be sure to check out my reviews at Screen Invasion and College Movie Review.

Thanks for your readership and support.

Sincerely,
Kip Mooney
