2015 in Review: The Best Songs

Once again, the year in music was dominated by a young female singer-songwriter whose latest album isn’t on Spotify. While “Hello” was the year’s biggest sing-along, I was most captivated by “Water Under the Bridge,” allegedly a tribute to her boyfriend and the father of her child. While I wouldn’t consider 25 – by far the year’s biggest album – one of my favorites of the year, this is the best song on it, and considering Adele’s powerful pipes, that’s not faint praise.
