NEW SHOWS
Kevin Can F**k Himself – “We’re Selling Washing Machines” (A-)
Mary Hollis Inboden starts stealing the show early as Patty, a woman whose “just one of the boys” vibes is a front for a mountain of regret. In just three episodes, we’re already rooting for her, even though she keeps making bad decisions.

CURRENT SHOWS
Kevin Can F**k Himself
“Living the Dream” (B+)
“New Tricks” (A)
The pilot takes some getting used to, but eventually it works quite well, mainly because Annie Murphy is so tremendous. The second episode is much better, with all that set-up out of the way. It walks the comedy-drama tightrope expertly.

BINGEING
A.P. Bio – Season 3 (A- average)
If I had had Peacock last year and been able to see this third season, it would have absolutely made my Top 10. The students are almost irrelevant at this point, serving as a sort of Greek chorus/joke machine, but it’s still just as warm and funny. Its heart is nearly as big as Ted Lasso‘s.
