It takes a confident show to spin this many plates in a single episode, but director Anna Dokoza pulls off the controlled chaos effortlessly. The dramatic tension was next-level, but a Brian Scalabrine cameo made this TV bliss.

I had a little nervous voice in the back of my head telling me this season was going to faceplant. But that was alleviated after consecutive references to Magnolia and the Gin Blossoms.
