Movie of the Week
The One I Love
I love movies that have a moment where you either roll with it or you don’t (e.g. Magnolia, The Cabin in the Woods), and The One I Love, a romantic comedy starring Mark Duplass and Elisabeth Moss, fits the bill nicely. Whether you roll with it or not is up to your particular taste and ability to suspend disbelief.

Y tu mama también [The Criterion Collection]
Though it’s not for everyone, I have no qualms about calling this one of the greatest movies of all time. Alfonso Cuarón’s road comedy is challenging but rewarding, and features incredible performances, writing, cinematography, editing, the whole deal. Yes, it earns its NC-17, but this is a movie strictly for intelligent adults.
