The Armor of Light (2015) – 7/7
You want to get angry? These films will get you angry. The former is the Oscar-winning story of how the banks bet on our economy to fail, made money when it did, and never had to face any consequences for it. The latter is a smaller documentary about the Christian response to gun control. Spoiler alert: Some love their guns more than God or people.

Stranger Things (Season 1) – 7/15
Netflix (and TV in general) doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to shows about strange towns. For every Twin Peaks and Picket Fences, there are a dozen more disasters, including Netflix’s own Hemlock Grove. But I’m willing to give this one a shot, especially considering its solid cast.
